Finn Allen continued his outrageous sixes in IPL 2026 and entered the elite list on Saturday after hitting 10 sixes during Kolkata Knight Riders’ clash against Gujarat Titans. The explosive KKR opener has now registered two IPL innings with 10 or more sixes, joining only a handful of batsmen in the league’s history to achieve the feat multiple times. Only Chris Gayle has done so more times, with four such innings to his name.

After GT won the toss and elected to field first, Allen played another impressive innings at Eden Gardens. The right-hander brutalized every Gujarat bowler and during the power play, swung the momentum completely in KKR’s favor to reach a 21-ball half-century. The New Zealand batsmen eventually fell for a brilliant 93 off just 35 balls, missing out on what would have been one of the fastest IPL centuries ever. His innings included four fours and 10 big sixes at a strike rate of 265.71. Allan’s innings ended when Sai Kishor outfoxed him with flight and drift. Trying to hit another uppercut to the ground, Allen backs away and looks to clear the ropes once again, only to find Rashid Khan Securely deployed on the wide long-on. This knock pushed Allan further into KKR’s record books. His 93 is now the highest individual score by a KKR batsman against Gujarat Titans in IPL history. It was also Allen’s second IPL innings of the season with 10 sixes, following his onslaught against Delhi Capitals earlier in Delhi.

At a time when KKR are fighting to stay alive in the playoff race, Allen’s fearless batting has emerged as one of the few bright spots in an inconsistent campaign for the defending champions.
