Delhi EWS Second Merit List 2026: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Government of NCT, Delhi has released the results of the first computerized draw for EWS, DG, and CWSN admissions for the academic session 2026-27 on April 6, 2026. With the online result portal document verification phase, the second merit list is now widely expected – though the DoE is yet to confirm any official release date. Accepted proof of residence includes ration card, domicile certificate, voter ID card, utility bills, or passport, and no more documents than those prescribed will be accepted. Candidates can submit revised documents till 2nd May 2026 in case of discrepancies. Zonal authorities will issue reasonable orders after verification of documents between 4th May to 6th May 2026. Appeals can be filed before the District Admission Monitoring Committee between 7th May to 12th May 2026, final orders will be issued by 26th May 2026. Admissions to allotted schools are to be completed by 20 May 2026.A total of 29 zonal teams have been formed in 15 districts, each consisting of a zonal DDE, a section officer or equivalent, and two data entry operators, all working under the supervision of District Deputy Directors of Education.
