‘Euphoria 3’ Season 3 Recap: Rue and Jules finally reunite
The episode shows Rue starting to work at a strip club to escape Laurie, who owes her millions of dollars. There, for a while, Rue seems happy because she has someone to spend time with and is away from Laurie and the dangerous ways of drug dealing. However, when things fall apart with Angel, the stripper she’s been seeing, she finally leaves to meet Jules. This is the first major interaction between the two since their falling out in Season 2.The story then delves into Jules’ life and how she has spent the time jumping from Season 2 to Season 3. At the request of her friend to start working as a sex worker, Jules goes on a date with a 48-year-old man. She goes on a few more dates before landing a plastic surgeon obsessed with her body. The two talk about his strange habits and his lifestyle choices that his wife is well aware of. He even convinces her to drop out of art school, something she’s wanted since high school. Rue, on the other hand, becomes an arms dealer for a strip club owner and works with his second-in-command, Bishop.
Cassie and Nate’s wedding
As Jules and Rue meet, the two have a bittersweet meeting. Jules is invited to Nate and Cassie’s wedding, though it’s Rue who gives her the money to buy a dress rather than the plastic surgeon who seems to be obsessed with Jules. The wedding processions begin; however, Nate disappears, which leaves Cassie terrified of the collapse of her marriage. Jules and Cal (Nate’s father, played by the late Eric Dane) meet for the first time in years, and Jules asks, “Remember me.“The most viral moment of this episode comes from the wedding reception that follows, when Cassie and Nate do one of the most awkward first dances of any wedding. While Nate shines and smiles brightly, maintaining his facade, Cassie is a mix of chaos, smiling but tearful as she tells her newlywed husband to be poor.Another surprising point comes when Rue is shown calling out to Fez (played by the late Angus Cloud, who passed away before Season 3 began filming), that he’s glad he’s in prison, and then repeating his side of the conversation, mentioning that he plans to escape from prison using parkour.
Nate and Cassie’s fortunes spiral downward as they are attacked by loan sharks
After doing damage control in their marriage, Nate and Cassie are confronted with the $500K loan that Nate owes. Cassie’s nose is broken on her wedding day, while Nate is beaten and tortured. Although things are about to go very wrong for both of them.
