Private jet slots at Palermo airport are booked months in advance, and fleets of luxury blacked-out vehicles are expected to shuttle guests between hotels, villas and ceremony venues.Wedding planner Alessandra Grillo, known for planning high-end weddings in Italy, was spotted in Palermo taking care of the final preparations ahead of the celebrations.
The venue for Dua and Callum’s wedding
All eyes will be on Villa Igiea, the flagship five-star hotel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea for the big celebration. The luxury property has reportedly reserved two-story suites for wedding guests and will reportedly be closed to the public for the entire weekend. The main event is expected to take place in Villa Valguarnera, Bagheria’s XVII. As well as hosting Dua and Callum’s guests, the villa also reportedly appeared in the opening credits of HBO’s hit series The White Lotus.Inside, guests will feast in the Galleria degli Specchi, or Hall of Mirrors, one of the villa’s most striking architectural features.
