Speaking recently, Anisha shared how Deepika’s experience in 2014 became a turning point not only for the actress, but for her own understanding of mental well-being.Recalling those difficult years, Anisha said that she did not feel like she could recognize what Deepika was going through, especially since the two sisters lived in different cities.“For me, personally, I didn’t have the signs and symptoms to be able to understand what he was really going through. Not living in the same city didn’t help either, and they really catch me off guard and off guard. The more I research and understand this topic, the more I realize that there are millions of people, not only in India but all over the world, who are going through similar experiences,” added Deepika’s sister.Over the years, Deepika Padukone has been one of India’s leading voices for mental health awareness. She was one of the first major Bollywood stars to speak publicly about living with clinical depression and anxiety, helping to normalize conversations around mental wellness.In 2015, Deepika founded The Live Love Laugh Foundation to raise awareness about mental health and fight the stigma surrounding it. Anisha is currently the CEO of the organization, and the foundation continues to help those with mental health issues.On the professional front, Deepika has recently returned from South Africa after completing an extensive shooting schedule for ‘King’ with the actor.
