Ranbir KapoorRiddhima Kapoor’s sister is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’. The film stars Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma At 45, Riddhima becomes the oldest member of the Kapoor family to act for the first time. She previously appeared on ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’.Riddhima opened up about making her debut and said, “It feels really surreal and emotional. I know everything will come full circle… I know my father is always with me, blessing me in whatever I choose. That thought gives me so much strength and comfort.”He also stated that the shoot marked a personal milestone, as it was the first time since Rishi KapoorShe had to leave her daughter in Delhi for cancer treatment in New York. Reflecting on the experience, she said: “Honestly, the biggest challenge was entering a completely new world at this stage in life. There’s a certain vulnerability to starting over, but also a lot of excitement at the same time.”She said her reality show experience helped her transition, “being in front of the camera for a show made me comfortable. It gave me a sense of ease and familiarity, which definitely made this transition smoother.” Neetu Kapoor also made brief appearances on the show, talking about her return to work after Rishi Kapoor’s death.In ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’, Neetu will also be seen playing Riddhima’s on-screen mother. Talking about the experience, Riddhima said, “Working with Mom was incredibly special. I discovered how effortless and instinctive she is as an actor.” He also remembered his mother’s advice: “Be natural and don’t think too much. Feel the moment.” Adding to this, Riddhima said, “That really helped me facilitate my performance.“Interestingly, it was Kapil Sharma who recommended him for the project. Riddhima shared, “I haven’t directly asked her why, but I think she saw some kind of honesty or relatability in me. I appreciate her recommending my name.” The film also stars Sarath Kumar and Sadia Khateeb and will hit the theaters on May 8.
