Ramayana‘ Producer Namit Malhotra and actor-producer Yash have officially kicked off the global promotions of their film at CinemaCon 2026. In a big step to position the mythological show on a global scale, the couple started promoting the film with sit-down interviews on Day 1 of the event.Photos that have surfaced online show Yash, who will play the villain Ravana, dressed in a blue shirt and black pants while rocking a thick beard. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the gangster drama was slated to clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. However, due to the ongoing global conflict, the makers decided to postpone the release of the film. The cinematic universe started by director Ayan Mukerji, the movie ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor. According to reports, the showcase is a strategic move to present the Indian film as a global marquee project.
