
The application window will be open from May 16 to June 7. The university said that admissions will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) PG portal and will be based only on the CUET-PG 2026 scores in the relevant subject papers.
The University has also introduced an auto-integration system this year so that candidate details and CUET scores can be retrieved directly through DigiLocker and API Setu. It said the initiative aims to ensure a uniform authentication system, improve data security and reduce duplication under the Digital India framework.
Along with this, DU said that students currently in the third or fourth year of their undergraduate courses will also be eligible to apply for the two-year Masters programmes, subject to program-specific eligibility conditions.

The registration fee for SC, ST and PWBD candidates is fixed at Rs 100 per programme. For UR, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, the fee is Rs.250 per program.
The University advises the candidates to check the PG Bulletin of Information and CSAS-PG 2026 guidelines for details of eligibility and seat allocation rules.
DU also said that applications for one-year postgraduate programs will be opened on a separate portal, which will be announced later.
Students with four-year undergraduate degrees – including research or entrepreneurship honors – will be eligible for the new structure, subject to conditions laid down by the university.
The university has also introduced mid-entry and spot admission rounds for candidates who miss the initial deadline. Those who do not apply within the given window can still participate through mid-entry by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000, he said.
