Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) will start the registration process for Computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT) 2026 August session from 26 May 2026.Interested candidates can apply for the exam through the official website till 23 June 2026.As per the official schedule, the CDAC C-CAT August 2026 exam will be held on July 4 and July 5 at various exam centers. The admit card of the exam will be released about three to four days before the exam.The duration of the entry test will be one hour.
CDAC C-CAT 2026 : Application fee
Candidates applying for the examination have to pay the following application fee.
- 1,550 for Course Category II (Papers A+B).
- 1,750 for Course Category III (Papers A+B+C)
The fee can be paid through online mode while filling the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in the following subjects are eligible to apply:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science (CS)
- Electronics
- Telecommunications
- Electric
- the instrument
Applicants must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree.CDAC has also clarified that there is no age limit for admission to its postgraduate certificate programs.

CDAC Postgraduate Certificate programs are 24-week full-time courses comprising approximately 1,200 hours of training and 300 hours of self-study.Post Graduate Diploma batch for August session is scheduled to start from 24 August 2026.
