Ananya Panday and Lakshya starrer “Chand Mera Dil” saw a noticeable drop in collections on its eleventh day at the theaters. The romantic drama showed relatively better movement over the weekend. However, the weekday trend pushed the daily figures down. According to Sacnilk estimates, the film earned Rs 90 lakh on day 11 in India. This represents a 50 percent drop from the Rs 1.80 crore collected on Day 10.
Indian collections continue to rise
The latest earnings have taken the film’s Indian total to 25.20 crores. Meanwhile, the gross collections in India have reached 29.79 crores. Day 11 business was generated from 2,707 shows that ran across theaters. Earlier, the film collected Rs 1.80 crore on day 10 while registering 15 percent occupancy.Day 11 numbers reflected a more typical weekday pattern. Occupancy was down to 11 percent as audience participation slowed compared to the weekend. “Chand Mera Dil” collected Rs 10 lakh overseas in 11 days.The latest addition has taken the overseas gross collections to 3.85 crore. Along with the domestic business, the worldwide earnings have now touched 33.64 crores. The Hindi version registered an overall occupancy of 12.13 percent on Day 11.Night shows had the highest audience response with 17.38 percent occupancy. Morning shows remained lower at 5.77 percent. Evening shows accounted for 12.31 percent, while evening shows accounted for 10.92 percent.
