‘Chand Mera Dil’, directed Vivek Soni and headlines Lakshya and Ananya Pandaythe film is coming to the end of its first week with good collections despite mixed reviews, limited pre-release buzz and strong competition.
‘Chand Mera Dil’ box office collection Day 5
The film, which was praised for its grounded portrayal of love and its departure from the toxic dynamic between the main characters, completed its opening weekend with a collection of 11 million euros. Now, according to a report on Sacnilk, the film saw a 6.7% drop on Tuesday on Day 5 from Monday’s earnings. The Karan Johar-backed project made Rs 2.10 crore from 4,119 shows on Day 5. With this, the total gross collection in India is now Rs 18.16 crore and the total net collection in India is Rs 15.35 crore.Overseas, the Ananya starrer collected 40 lakhs on Day 5, taking its total overseas gross to 2.65 crores so far. This pushed the worldwide gross collections to around 20.81 crores.
