gave Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the result of Class 10th High School Certificate Examination 2026 today on 29 April 2026. The 10th pass percentage is 77.15%. A total of 3,21,677 candidates were registered for the examination this year. Out of them 3,16,730 students participated including 1,40,402 boys and 1,76,328 girls.The results of 3,14,953 candidates have been declared, while the rest of the cases are either withheld or under various scrutiny categories. Out of the announced results, 2,43,016 candidates passed, making the overall success ratio 77.15%.
The girls once again prevailed over the boys.
A clear and consistent trend is again evident in this year’s results – girls outperforming boys by a significant margin.
- Girls pass percentage: 81.03%
- Boys percent pass: 72.27%
This gap, of more than eight percentage points, continues a pattern seen in previous years where female candidates have consistently maintained strong academic results.Education analysts often see this trend as a reflection of changing classroom dynamics, higher retention levels among girls, and better participation in board-level examinations.161 results withheld, more than 1,600 applications rejected. - 15 cases related to cheating
- 143 cases are under scrutiny.

Besides, applications of 1,616 candidates were rejected due to lack of eligibility, adding another layer of administrative rigor to this year’s examination cycle.
The merit list shows extreme competition at the top.

Level 2 (five students):A number of candidates, including Rhea Keshravani, Rano Siddhimaisahu, Renuka Pradhan, Deepanshi Bodh, and Nandita Devangan scored 593/600 (98.83%).Level 3 to Level 5:Scores are tightly packed between 592 and 590 marks, reflecting a highly compressed merit structure.
