Bruce Dern’s Quentin Tarantino scolded Brad Pitt
While attending the Cannes Film Festival, Bruce Dern explained what it was like filming with Quentin Tarantino in 2019 when he worked on ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.He revealed that there was a scene where Brad Pitt’s character says goodbye. During the scene, when Pitt wakes up, he says he feels angry and says something that wasn’t part of the script. This made the ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ actor cut the cameras at this point. This situation prompted Tarantino to reprimand him and clarify that he should never have done such a thing. He added: “He (Brad Pitt) cut to the camera. The look on Quentin’s face – I mean, he was so serious – and he said, ‘Brad, what did you just do?’ He said, ‘Well, I cut the camera.'” Tarantino also said he replied, “‘You’ll never cut a camera in your life, or you’ll be dead in this business. That’s my domain. Don’t let the behavior go.'” Then we did the scene, and all Brad did was say, ‘Well, that wasn’t what it said in the script.‘”‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ was a huge hit and won Pitt an Oscar for his role as Cliff Booth for Best Supporting Actor. According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed US$393.8 million worldwide against a production budget of US$80 million.
