Arjun Sarja’s ‘Blast’ continued at its theater with a slight dip in collections on its seventh day. The film maintained a steady run in its first week. With its 7th day performance, ‘Blast’ boosted its earnings further. The film’s net collection in India now stands at Rs 23.75 crore. Meanwhile, the total gross in India has reached 27.29 crores.The film also continued its overseas journey with additional earnings from international markets. Reports suggested that Blast earned Rs 50 lakh overseas on day 7.The international total now stands at 7.30 crore gross. This has taken the film’s worldwide gross collection to 34.59 crores after seven days of release.
The Tamil version continues to drive business
Among all the versions, the Tamil release was the main contributor. The Tamil version brought in 2.50 crores on the 7th day. The Telugu version collected Rs 25 lakh.The Tamil version also registered stronger occupancy numbers throughout the day. Reports showed an overall occupancy of 25.03 percent. Night shows had the highest attendance with 32.31 percent occupancy. The morning shows were relatively lower.The Telugu version registered an overall occupancy of 17.48 percent during the day.Tamil Nadu also emerged as the top performing market. The state collected 1.55 million euros on the 7th day. Kerala followed with a collection of 1.15 crores.
