Hollywood actress Blake Lively made a solo appearance at the 2026 Met Gala, hours after settling her multi-million dollar lawsuit with ‘It Ends With Us’ director Justin Baldoni.Vizia hit the red carpet in a multi-colored pastel dress from the 2006 Atelier Versace archive, said to be inspired by Rococo paintings and Baroque churches in Venice. The actor climbed the iconic stairs alone, smiling as he waved at shutterbugs and flashing cameras. His appearance at the Met came moments after news broke that he had settled his years-long legal battle with Baldoni, avoiding a costly civil trial on May 18.In a joint statement through their attorneys, the two said, “Raising awareness and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is our goal.”“It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and peacefully, including in a respectful online environment.”The adversary-turned-actors settled the civil suit two weeks before going to trial in New York, alleging Baldoni conspired with publicists to preemptively destroy her reputation after she was accused of sexual harassment on the set of the film.Baldoni denied harassing him or orchestrating an advertising campaign.Monday’s settlement came after a federal judge in Manhattan threw out some of each actor’s claims.Last June, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s defamation and extortion suit. In April, it dismissed Lively’s sexual harassment claims, ruling that they could not be pursued under federal law because she was an independent contractor rather than an employee on a movie set.In a joint statement, the parties said they recognize that Lively’s concerns “deserved to be heard” and that they “remain strongly committed to workplaces free of inappropriateness and unproductive environments.”
