According to the Daily Mail, five contractors and subcontractors filed mechanics liens against the couple’s New York state property last month. The outlet reported that Westchester County records show combined claims of $2.1 million.The Post, citing documents it obtained, reported that FlowCon Inc. had the largest claim. Doing business as Flower Construction. The company is requesting $1.35 million for framing, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, masonry, waterproofing, painting and millwork.Other claims include custom copper roofing, structural steel fabrication, rough carpentry, geothermal excavation and septic installation. The Post also reported that no foreclosure notices or discharges appeared in county records.The couple quietly purchased the South Salem property through an LLC in 2018. Two years later, they added a $1.6 million four-bedroom lot and four surrounding lots.

Estate construction includes 14,500 sq. ft. main house, 3,306 sq. ft. pool, 1,000 sq. ft. pool, 1,702 sq. ft. gym, septic and storm systems. Construction is believed to have stopped in late 2025 or early 2026.At a 2022 planning commission hearing, Lively called the property “heaven” and “the most beautiful place in the world.”“We love this land so much. We’re so grateful to have this land and to have such space and privacy,” he told city officials.He also said the couple were “desperate to put their shovels in the ground and live on this earth”. Their lawyer, Michael Sirignano, said they had “no intention” of selling the surrounding land and wanted the property to “remain a blended family” for Lively, Reynolds and their four children.The bail comes after Lively sued Baldoni for an alleged hostile work environment. He sued Baldoni for $400 million. The case was later settled, with no money changing hands.Lively is still seeking legal fees related to her lawsuit against Baldoni, although a judge recently denied her request to file more. Representatives for the contractors and Lively did not respond to requests for comment.
