Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 notification has been released for admission to 2-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programs in Bihar universities. The entrance exam is conducted by BR Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, which has been designated as the state nodal university for the process.The online application process started on 27th April 2026 and will continue till 18th May 2026 at biharcetbed-brabu.in. Candidates intending to pursue a teaching career in Bihar must crack this Common Entrance Test as admission through CET B.Ed 2026 will be given strictly on merit.Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 ReviewThis exam is for 2-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri courses in which many universities across the state are participating. It will be conducted in offline OMR based mode under the supervision of BR Ambedkar Bihar University. Payment is accepted online through Debit Card Credit Card Net Banking or UPI and the fee is non-refundable.Eligibility CriteriaCandidates applying for B.Ed must be Graduation or Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks. 55% marks are required for engineering or technology graduate. Candidates for Shiksha Shastri program should have graduation with Sanskrit as main subject or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks. Applicants should verify eligibility before applying to avoid rejection during counseling.Exam patternThe examination will consist of 120 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each with a total duration of 2 hours. Sections include General English Sanskrit General Hindi Reasoning General Awareness and Teaching Learning Environment. There is no negative marking which allows the candidates to attempt all the questions.Minimum Qualifying No42 marks or 35 percent for general category and 36 or 30 percent for specialized category. This scoring system allows for choice.
