Even the biggest blockbusters have seen a drop in collections on weekdays, and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhoot Bangla’ met the same fate. According to Sacnilk, after enjoying a weekend surge, the film collected Rs 6.75 crore from 10,984 shows in India on its first Monday, Day 4. This represents a huge drop of 70.7% from Sunday’s net collection of 23.00 crores. With the fourth day figures, the net collection of ‘Bhooth Bangla’ in India stands at 64.75 crores.Now, coming to the overseas circuit, director Priyadarshan has added 2.50 crores to the tally. This takes the gross overseas earnings to 29 crores so far. Along with the Indian gross collection of 77.34 crores, it pushes the worldwide gross collection to 106.34 crores.
