Although the visuals were not cut, ‘Bandar’ reportedly underwent some dialogue changes, the main target of bad language used throughout the film. The word “b**** c***” was replaced with “banjo,” and several other hard words were replaced with softer alternatives, such as “saale,” “ce,” “haramkhor,” “gu,” “pagal,” “fr,” “bloody,” “hooking up,” “moron,” “gd,” “ca,” “t wise guy,” “j “saamaan,” “ling,” “b*e,” “willy,” “weenie,” and “clown.”“Some words were also replaced with ‘aicha gavat’, ‘goddamit’, ‘baby’, ‘nasha’, ‘ladki’, ‘kamine’ and ‘hum sab’. The word ‘b*****d’ was ordered to be deleted, one abusive word was silenced in the third act and three others were silenced. There was also a dialogue to ‘change kitna bhi sindoor’.”

Bobby Deol’s ‘Bandar’ gets censor certificate on May 30, runtime revealed

According to the report, the makers of ‘Bandar’ submitted documents to prove that the film is based on a true story. They even gave a celebrity permission letter to use their names in the movie. After making all the changes, ‘Bandar’ got the censor certificate on 30th May. The certificate shows that the duration of the film is 130.27 minutes, which means that Bandar is 2 hours, 10 minutes and 27 seconds.

‘Bandar’ is directed by Anurag Kashyap and stars Bobby Deol in the lead role. The film also features Sapna Pabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaranand To Jitendra Joshi playing important parts. This is Deol’s first film with Anurag and is likely to showcase the actor in a tough and intense role.
