Last December, Marvel announced a re-release of “Avengers: Endgame” before “Avengers: Doomsday”. However, it has now been revealed that there is more to it than what was being told.
The new footage of ‘Doomsday’ will be released on September 25th
According to Variety , during the Walt Disney Studios CinemaCon presentation on Thursday, directors Joe and Anthony Russo announced that the September 25 release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will include brand new footage from the already 3-hour long film.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will be presented in infinite vision
In addition to footage from the new movie ‘Endgame’ and ‘Doomsday’, which will hit theaters on December 18, they will also be shown in “Infinity Vision,” a new certification for premium large-format theaters that offers moviegoers the “biggest, brightest and most immersive cinematic experience.”“Disney’s standards of production quality are second to none, with every detail of a film finely tuned for an immersive experience,” said Andrew Cripps, head of theatrical distribution for The Walt Disney Studios. “Infinity Vision certification extends this commitment to theaters, representing a shared effort between The Walt Disney Studios and the exhibition community to help audiences quickly find the best screens in their area to experience our films the way they were designed to be seen, on a big screen with the sharpest, brightest color and sound.”
A full-length trailer has also been released
At CinemaCon, the full length trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has also been released. All the heroes (and several former villains) must put aside their differences and join forces to take down Doctor Doom. Downey Jr., along with Chris Evans, went up to play the trailer twice to the packed auditorium.Meanwhile, anticipation remains high for December 18th, as Timothee Chalamet starrer ‘Dune: Part 3’ will also perform in Imax.
