Famous composer Hans Zimmer ‘Interstellar’, ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’ to name a few are all set to hit Australia. The composer has announced that he will be returning to the country this year and will be performing in various areas of the country.
Hans Zimmer to return to Australia
The Oscar and Grammy winning composer is all set to embark on his ‘Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level’ tour in Australia this October. Rolling Stone Australia reports that the first show will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth on October 12. He next heads to Adelaide’s AEC Arena on October 15, Brisbane Entertainment Center on October 20, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 24 and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on October 28.Tickets for the event will go live on June 3 at 2:00 p.m. Advance tickets for Frontier members will go live the day before.Zimmer also talked about his upcoming tour dates and what he has in store for everyone. As he stated, “I want the fans to feel like they are at a rave party or riding a roller coaster. For me, every show is a new journey of discovery. The biggest challenge is the status quo – you have to do everything in your power to leave it behind and find and create something new.”Before that, the composer completed the European part of the tour, consisting of 50 arena shows located in 17 countries. According to the report, he played in front of approximately 600,000 fans. For the uninitiated, Zimmer is one of the most successful and sought-after songwriters in the industry.He is currently working with AR Rahman on the score for his upcoming film ‘Ramayana’.
