NTA Recruitment 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for several senior level posts on contract basis. Recruitment notification for the posts of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Finance Officer (CFO), and General Manager-Human Resources (GM-HR) has been released.As per the official notification, interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through email or post on or before 31 May 2026 by 5 PM. Applications received after the due date will not be considered.NTA, which functions under the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, conducts national-level entrance examinations for admission to higher education institutions across the country.
Vacancies announced by NTA
The recruitment drive includes the following posts:
- Chief Technology Officer (CTO): 1 post
- Chief Financial Officer (CFO): 1 post
- General Manager-Human Resource (GM-HR): 1 post
All posts will be based at NTA HQ in New Delhi.
Qualification and experience
As per the detailed notification, candidates for the post of CTO should have Master’s Degree or Diploma in Technology, Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Applicants must also have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience, including five years in a senior leadership role such as CTO, Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Head of Technology.And for the role of CFO, one should have qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, or a Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance, according to the official notification. A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, audit, treasury, or accounts is required.Meanwhile, candidates applying for the GM-HR position should have a post-graduate qualification in Human Resources Management or related disciplines with at least 12 years of experience in the HR domain.
