APPGECET 2026 Result Declared 93.29% Candidates Qualified for Engineering and Pharmacy PG Admissions

APPGECET 2026 Results: Andhra University has released APPGECET 2026 results for admissions to Post Graduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Technology courses in Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has entrusted the university with the responsibility of conducting the examination this year. The results and rank cards have been made available on the official portal.A total of 12,102 candidates registered for APPGECET 2026, while 9,990 candidates appeared for the examination held between April 28 and April 30, 2026. Of those who appeared for the exam, 9,320 qualified, making the overall pass percentage 93.29 percent. The examination was conducted in six sessions across 26 examination centers in Andhra Pradesh.Computer Science holds the record for most qualified candidates.Computer Science Engineering has recorded the highest number of qualified candidates among all the branches. Out of 3,047 candidates who appeared in the stream, 2,977 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 97.70%.Pharmacy had the second highest participation with 3,770 candidates and 3,465 qualifying. In civil engineering, 725 candidates qualified from 786 appearances, while electronics and communication engineering recorded 883 qualified candidates from 1,031 appearances.Food Technology reported a 100 per cent pass rate, with all 36 candidates qualifying. Biotechnology secured a pass percentage of 98.04%, while Geoengineering and Geoinformatics recorded 97.62%.Female candidates outperformed male candidates.Of the male candidates, 4,464 appeared for the examination and 4,144 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 92.83%. Women candidates recorded a slightly higher pass percentage of 93.67 per cent, with 5,176 out of 5,526 qualifying.In Computer Science Engineering, female candidates secured 98.29% pass percentage, compared to 97.17% for male candidates. In civil engineering, female candidates recorded 94.37 percent, which is higher than male candidates’ 91.04 percent.Regional centers maintain a strong pass percentage.Kapam Center recorded the highest regional pass percentage of 96.30%. Rajahmundry followed with 94.77 per cent, while Kurnool registered 94.27 per cent. Chittoor got 95.80 percent and Tirupati got 94 percent.Visakhapatnam had the highest number of candidates appearing for the exam, with 1,545 candidates appearing and 1,447 qualifying. Vijayawada recorded 897 qualified candidates, while Guntur registered 1,073 successful candidates.According to the APPGECET 2026 office at Andhra University College of Engineering, the examination process was successfully completed under the supervision of Vice-Chancellor Prof. GP Rajasekhar and Convener Prof. Pusumurthy Mallikarjan Rao. Education Minister Nara Lokesh released the results and congratulated the eligible candidates.
