AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET 2026 Results Declared, 19,197 Candidates Qualified Across Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education has entrusted Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishwavidyalayam, Tirupati with the responsibility of conducting AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 examinations across the state. The entrance tests were conducted on 04 May 2026 in two sessions across 100 examination centers across Andhra Pradesh.The results have now been released for the candidates who have taken admission in three-year and five-year LLB programs and two-year LLM courses. According to official data, 23,996 candidates appeared for the exams while 19,197 candidates qualified, bringing the overall success rate to 80 percent. The rank cards are made available online through the official portal.

The exam was conducted in two sessions.The first session of the exam was held from 9 am to 10.30 am while the second session was held from 2 pm to 3.30 pm. After the exam, preliminary answer keys were uploaded on 07 May 2026. Candidates are allowed to submit objections between 07th May to 09th May 2026.An expert committee reviewed all the objections before preparing the final answer keys, officials said. Results were processed based on these final keys.PGLCET records the highest qualifying percentage.For the APPGL CET 2026, which was conducted for admission to the two-year LLM course, 2,235 candidates registered and 1,904 appeared for the exam. Of these, 1,752 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 92.02.22,284 candidates enrolled in the AP LAWCET three-year LLB stream, while 17,533 appeared. A total of 13,863 qualified candidates, with a pass percentage of 79.07%.5,502 candidates registered for the five-year LLB course and 4,559 appeared for the test. Out of them, 3,582 are eligible candidates, which is 78.57%.Category-wise and gender-wise statistics continueThe category and sex-wise figures released by the authorities cover all three streams. Out of open category candidates, 4,338 male and 2,420 female candidates appeared for the exam while 3,474 male and 1,681 female candidates qualified.Local region-wise, category-wise and stream-wise analysis has also been completed and city-wise statistics will be linked separately with the media as an annexure, officials said.
