AP Inter Results 2026: Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Examinations Results released on 15th April 2026, Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh reported 77% pass rate in first year and 81% pass rate in second year. The announcement was made during an official briefing, where important statistics related to student performance and institutional results were shared.A total of 4,21,984 students appeared in the first year examinations out of which 3,61,526 passed. In the second year, 4,44,657 candidates took the exam and 3,59,816 passed. The exams were held between February 23 and March 24. Along with the overall results, data from government junior colleges showed a pass rate of 54 per cent in the first year and 68 per cent in the second year.Comparison of pass percentage across yearsThe pass percentage data for the last six years shows a steady increase in both general and professional streams. The latest figures for 2026 indicate the highest performance in recent years for general courses.
General chain trendsIn the general stream, the first-year pass rate increased from 59 percent in 2020 to 77 percent in 2026. Results for the second year also show an upward trend, rising from 59 percent in 2020 to 81 percent in 2026, with a peak recorded at 83 percent in 2025.The figures indicate a gradual increase after 2022, with a steady increase recorded every year. The increase in 2026 marks the highest level for general first-year students in the given period.Professional chain performanceThe professional stream has also recorded steady growth over the years. The first year pass rate increased from 41% in 2020 to 61% in 2026. The pass percentage in the second year increased from 50% in 2020 to 74% in 2026.The highest vocational second year pass percentage was recorded at 77% in 2025, followed by a slight decline in 2026. However, the overall figures are higher than previous years.District and Institutional HistoryPerformance varied district wise, with Krishna district recording the highest pass percentage in both the first and second years, while Anamaya district reported the lowest. Government junior colleges recorded 54 per cent in the first year and 68 per cent in the second year, reflecting their contribution to the overall results.Students desirous of re-counting and re-verification can apply between 20th April to 27th April. The supplementary practical exams are scheduled from May 7 to May 11, followed by the advanced supplementary exams from May 21.
