AP Inter Results 2026: The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), headquartered in Guntur, has announced that the AP Inter 1st and 2nd Year Results 2026 will be declared on April 15 from 10:31 am onwards. Students appearing for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) to be held in March will be able to access their results online through the official portal.The Intermediate Public Examinations were held between February 23 and March 24, with a total of over 10.57 lakh students registered in both the years. Of these, more than 5.31 lakh candidates appeared in the first year examinations, while more than 5.26 lakh students appeared in the second year examinations. Results will be released simultaneously for both the groups.Official Result Timing and Access DetailsAs per the notification issued by the Secretary, BIEAP from Tadipally, the results will be made available on April 15 from 10:31 am onwards. Students can check their marks on the official website, resultsbie.ap.gov.inBy entering their hall ticket number and other required credentials.Apart from the website, the board has also enabled access through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service. Students can text “Hi” to 9552300009 and follow the prompts to get their numbers memo directly on their mobile devices. This additional facility is expected to ease accessibility during rush hours.Examination scale and participationThe AP Intermediate exams saw massive participation this year, with over 10.57 lakh students registering. The first year batch had over 5.31 lakh candidates, while the second year had over 5.26 lakh students.The participation measure highlights the importance of announcing results, as these scores play an important role in determining students’ academic progress and eligibility for higher education.Changes introduced in AP Inter exams 2026.The 2026 exams included several structural changes aimed at improving the assessment patterns. First year students were provided with a 32 page answer booklet while second year students got a 24 page booklet.Subjects like Mathematics 1A and 1B were combined with Botany and Zoology to reduce the examination load. Additionally, single-mark questions were introduced in key subjects to enhance objective assessment and align the syllabus with national-level entrance examinations such as JEE and NEET.Marks memo and details of next stepsThe AP Intermarks memo will contain essential details like student name, hall ticket number, subject wise marks, total marks, grade, and eligibility status. Students are advised to verify all the details carefully after downloading the provisional certificate.The Online Marks Memo will serve as a provisional document for admissions, while the original certificates will be issued later by the respective institutions. Students who are not satisfied with their results will have the option to apply for a recount by paying Rs 100 per subject, a process expected to begin in April.Candidates who are not eligible will be able to appear for supplementary exams, while improvement exams will also be available for those who wish to boost their scores.
