They reportedly offered emotional reassurance and assured the family that they would stay by their side during the child’s recovery process.

Allu Aravin assures educational support

During the interaction with the family, Allu Aravind promised educational support to Sritej’s younger sister. He reportedly told the family: “Study well, I will cover all your educational expenses.”Reports suggest that the Allu family, along with the production banner associated with Pushpa, has been contributing to Sritej’s medical treatment expenses since the incident.The family has previously received financial assistance, and said support continues as Sritej undergoes rehabilitation and long-term medical care.

According to reports by TOI City, Sritej sustained injuries in the stampede that took place at the Pushpa 2 premiere event on December 4.After nearly five months in intensive care, he was discharged in April and later moved to a rehabilitation center in Ramgopalp for continued neurological treatment.Speaking to TOI City in 2025, his father Mogadampalli Bhaskar said, “There has been hardly any improvement in his health. My son is still struggling to recognize us. Most of the time he is staring, with very little emotion on his face. He is currently undergoing speech and swallowing therapy. We are continuing his recovery.”Sritej was initially admitted to the emergency department in a semi-conscious state after sustaining injuries outside the Sandhya theater on December 4.After the incident, he was unconscious for a long time. He also developed respiratory failure and severe neurological complications that required ventilator support for several weeks.
