The news was confirmed by news station ABC4 Utah. It was announced that the famous musician and the oldest member of ‘The Osmonds’ had passed away at the age of 76 in the evening hours of April 20. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Pinegar Osmond, and their eight sons, all of whom are said to have been at home when he died.40 years ago, the singer was officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and took a step away from a life of glitz and glamor to recover from the disease.

She elaborated in the post: “She was struggling, but when I shared a joke or two, she found the strength to laugh…and then she smiled. In a tender moment I’ll never forget, she leaned over and whispered something in my ear. ‘Merrill, you and I worked side by side.'” remembered for her music and personality.While speaking to PEOPLE about his brother’s murder, he also mentioned, “It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of my beloved brother, Alan Osmond.
