The retrospective revelation has since attracted widespread attention from fans and industry watchers alike.

In a candid conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay Kumar recalled the time when intraday payments were the industry standard. He was clearly nostalgic for what those terms meant to him personally. He said, “Uss time mujhe achhe khaase mil jaate thay; din ka mil jata tha 8 se 9 lakh rupees (Back then, I used to earn quite a good amount; I used to earn around 8 to 9 lakhs a day).”
