According to a report by Cinema Express, Aishwarya Rajesh said that she did not want to rush to sign films after the success of Anil Ravipudi’s ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’. He wanted to wait for a story that would really excite him.“I took my time to make a good subject and signed Oh Sukumari after Sankranthiki Vasthunnam,” he said.The actor also shared that expectations for his films were there even before the Sankranti blockbuster. That the audience has always expected something different from his performances. “It’s not Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, but even before that people expected something from me, when I did my films,” he said.
About ‘Oh Sukumari’
The actor also spoke about his upcoming film, ‘Oh Sukumari’, which will bring a new perspective that the South Indian audience has not seen before. “It’s definitely an entertaining film, and whether I live up to expectations is up to the audience,” he said.He also added that the story stood out for its unusual concept. Referring to his earlier film ‘DeAr’, he said that the film dealt with a snoring problem, whereas ‘Oh Sukumari’ brings a completely different twist.“In my previous DeAr, I had a problem with snoring and in this one, if someone touches the female lead, they will be shocked, which I thought was different,” said Aishwarya Rajesh.
The actor rejected several offers before opting for ‘Oh Sukumari’
The actor revealed that he received numerous offers after the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunam, but chose to wait for the right project.“After it was a huge success, I definitely got a lot of offers and I was waiting for a good subject and I liked Oh Sukumi and signed it. This is my next film after Sankranthiki Vasthunnam,” he said.
