I was a novice actor… My films had started well, but I had enough money, but I had enough budget.” he said

Speaking specifically about cricket, the actor admitted that he was not familiar with the sport before.“I didn’t know how I could contribute, then I wasn’t as well versed in sports as I am now. I knew other sports and I didn’t know how I could help. But never say never, maybe something will happen in the future,” he said. IPL started in 2008 when Abhishek was still establishing himself in Bollywood.
