Hyundai Venue Prices Raised For Select Variants: Here's How Much

Hyundai Motor India has increased the prices of select variants, with the diesel models seeing the biggest increase. This increase ranges from Rs. 5,200 to Rs.20,000, depending on the variant. The review is limited to specific clips rather than the entire lineup. While the petrol variants witness the least changes, as mentioned earlier, the diesel versions account for most of the increase, increasing the prices of the entry and mid-range options.Talking about the variants, the Venue is offered in petrol trims HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, and HX10, while the diesel variants will be offered as HX2, HX5, HX5 Plus, HX7, and HX10. The sedan is offered in three engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel engine producing 116 hp, 250 Nm of torque and paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. A 6-speed manual gearbox is also offered. Apart from the diesel, other variants of the Venue are also offered with a 1.2-litre, NA petrol engine with 88 hp, 114 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 120 hp and 172 Nm. Gearbox options include a manual or a 7-speed DCT. The Venue N Line is offered with just one engine option – a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.Starting with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine option. The biggest increase comes in the HX5 trim, which is now priced Rs 20,000 more than before – the steepest increase across the range. Note that this increase does not extend to the rest of the lineup with the same engine. The entry-level HX2 and slightly higher HX6T continue at their current prices.

Moving up to the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol version. The HX5 DCT and HX6 DCT variants have become Rs 9,000 more expensive, while the top-spec HX8 DCT sees a small bump of Rs 5,000. Prices for the sportier online models remain unchanged. Among the diesel variants, the prices of HX2, HX5, HX5 AT and HX7 have increased by Rs 8,000. The HX8 and HX10 diesel automatic variants continue at current prices.In terms of features, the top-spec Venue gets dual 12.3-inch displays (for cluster and infotainment), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, 8-speaker Bose sound system, wireless charging, and a single-pane sunroof. On the safety front, equipment such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Level 2 ADAS.
