Hyundai Verna Vs Honda City: Variables and Price The Hyundai Verna facelift now gets new variant names and is offered in six variants – HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. It is priced between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The Honda City is offered in a total of four trims – SV, V, VX and ZX. Additionally, it is offered in Elegant, Apex and Sport editions with minor cosmetic and feature enhancements. It is priced between Rs 12.05 lakh and Rs 16.17 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna is Rs 1.07 lakh cheaper at the base end and Rs 2.08 lakh more expensive at the top end than the Honda City (ex-showroom).

Compared to the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna is 48mm shorter, 17mm wider, 14mm lower, a 70mm longer wheelbase, the same 165mm ground clearance, and a 22-litre larger boot.

Hyundai Verna vs Honda City: Powertrain Hyundai Verna gets two engine options – 1.5 liter NA petrol with 115 PS and 143 nm of torque and mated to 6-speed manual or CVT automatic. The other engine option is a 160 hp, 253 nm 1.5-litre turbo petrol mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. The Honda City is offered in two engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine that produces 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed MT or CVT gearbox. A segment-first hybrid powertrain is also offered, a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle hybrid engine with 124 hp and 253 Nm of torque.
