Janhvi Kapoor’s role stirs controversy

While the film continues to be a hit at the box office, conversations about Janhvi Kapoor’s character have continued online.Speaking to Telugu360 Digital, Jagapathi Babu defended Janhvi Kapoor and demanded restraint in online discussions. He said: “As an artist, the only thing I would say is please don’t hit the actress. It’s unfair to go after that girl. We don’t know what her personal views were or if she agreed with all the creative decisions.”Explaining the creative process behind filmmaking, he added, “It’s not like he pushes himself. The manager did what he asked. When an actor signs up and trusts a director’s vision, they follow that vision. We do what the manager tells us. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. He (Buchi Babu) may have his reasons. I support Janhvi on this issue.”The actor also emphasized that the audience should focus their opinions on the film rather than on individuals. He further said, “If you like the movie or not, then comment on the movie. But don’t single out an artist, troll or cause mental anguish.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article have been collected from public and industry sources.
