‘Mollywood Time’ revolves around a young dreamer

‘Mollywood Times’ follows the journey of Vineeth Madhavan, a teenager from Kuttikkanam who dreams of becoming a filmmaker. He directs the program By Abhinav Sunder NayakKnown for ‘Mukundan Unni Associates’.ETimes’ review of the film reads: “Abhinav, co-written by Ramu Sunil, gives a refreshing take on life’s struggles. Refreshing because, while it could easily turn grim, the writers keep the narrative light-hearted and the hero never gives up on his dreams or truly compromises his principles.”The review also highlighted some issues in the narrative. He said, “So the ideas are believable, but the storytelling starts to falter, especially in the second half. The various hurdles that arise in Vineeth’s dreams are only from Mollywood’s unique modus operandi and it gets tiresome. The SC/ST privilege bits feel surprisingly tone-deaf and unnecessary.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article have been collected from public and industry sources.
