Ultraviolet has announced a new Ownership Benefits Program. Called ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’, the move offers cashback benefits to buyers of the Ultraviolet F77 and X-47 based on their previous petrol-powered two-wheeler usage.Under the scheme, customers can get cashback equivalent to the kilometers traveled on their old bike or scooter in the last two years. For example, a rider who has covered 20,000 km on his current two-wheeler will be eligible for a cashback of Rs 20,000. UltraViolet says customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 30,000 under the programme.According to UltraViolet, riders who switch to F77 or X-47 can save Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 per month on fuel costs alone, depending on usage patterns and fuel prices.Talking about motorcycles, the Ultraviolet F77 is currently one of the high-performance electric motorcycles in India. The bike is offered in multiple variants and comes with a massive battery pack of up to 10.3 kWh. Ultraviolet claims an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge for the top-spec version. The motorcycle also features traction control, multiple riding modes, dynamic stability control, regenerative braking, connected technology and fast charging support.The recently launched Ultraviolet X-47 is the brand’s electric crossover motorcycle. The Ultraviolet X47 is an electric street crossover offered with 7.1 kWh and 10.3 kWh battery packs. It produces up to 40.2 hp, has a top speed of 145 kmph, and prices start at Rs 1.49 lakh with a battery subscription plan.
