A video of alleged massive cheating during a government computer-based examination has gone viral on social media. The footage, shared by a user named Raj Academy Prayag Raj, shows candidates using mobile phones while taking the online exam. Some persons can also be seen standing close to the candidates, who allegedly help them answer the questions. Sharing the clip, the user alleged that there was widespread maladministration in the examination centre. In the post, the user wrote in Hindi that candidates are solving open-ended questions on mobile phones and using AI tools to find the answers. The user further claimed that the entire center was compromising and warned that such behavior would discourage honest students while increasing unemployment. The video quickly attracted strong reactions online. A social media user described the incident as a complete mockery of students who spend months preparing for competitive exams.“When merit is ignored, incompetents slip through the cracks, and companies completely lose faith in degrees. It kills the motivation for the next generation to take up the book. Authorities need to identify this center and cancel the process immediately. No transparency, no merit,” the user wrote. The viral clip comes at a time when the country’s examination system is already under scrutiny amid allegations over the NEET paper leak and CBSE’s examination process. On Saturday, several CUET-UG 2026 examination centers faced delays and disruptions reportedly due to technical issues. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday stepped up his attack on the Center over the recurring exam controversies. Referring to NEET, CBSE, SSC and CUET, he wrote on X, “NEET. CBSE. SSC. And today CUET. Four exams. One crore kids. Not one taken honestly.”He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the government has failed to conduct major national examinations in a fair and efficient manner. “Global guru claims, but can’t take a single exam in the country – Modi ji has completely ruined the entire education system. The generation whose future you are destroying will hold you accountable,” Rahul said.
