Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially announced the all-electric urban cruiser Ebella E3 in India priced at Rs 23.60 lakh, ex-showroom. The Urban Cruiser Abella E3 is the top variant in the lineup and comes with a 61kW battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. While Toyota has currently only announced pricing for the E3 variant, prices for the lower E1 and E2 variants are expected to be revealed later.

The setup produces 128kW, roughly equivalent to 174 bhp, with 189 Nm of torque. Toyota claims that the electric SUV can provide a driving range of up to 543 km on a full charge. Charging options include both AC and DC fast charging support. Toyota also claims that the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 45 minutes using a DC fast charger. Inside the cabin, the Abella gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other highlights include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 color options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and a JBL premium sound system.The company is also focusing heavily on ownership support for EV buyers. Toyota also said at the time of the unveiling that it will offer an eight-year battery warranty as well as battery-as-a-service options, an assured buyback program and financing schemes for customers. The brand claims that buyers will definitely get 60 percent of the buyback value after three years.The Urban Cruiser Abella will be offered in five monotone and four dual-tone color options.
