These unanswered questions include the role of Stoli’s ultimate beneficial owner, Yuri Shelfer, in buying out Jolie’s stake in the company.The judge reported that the attorney-client privilege did not apply to “business parties” and said 33 questions could be answered at the hearing. As part of the resolution, Culyba has been ordered to appear for another hearing and answer not only the previously blocked questions, but also any other related questions.The ruling comes weeks after Jolie scored a victory of her own when a Los Angeles Superior Court judge rejected Pitt’s attempt to compel her to hand over some private emails related to the winery dispute. The court ruled that Pitt did not meet the legal threshold required to overcome the protections of the attorney-client privilege.Pitt, however, scored another discovery-related victory in December 2025, when a judge ordered Jolie to hand over certain non-lawyer communications related to the case without redaction.The former Hollywood power couple finalized their divorce in December 2024 after a lengthy eight-year legal battle following their 2016 divorce.Pitt and Jolie share six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
