According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers seem to be planning a December 2026 release. However, there is still no official confirmation from the team regarding the release date.Reports say that the post-production work of the film is taking longer than expected. As “Vrushakarma” includes heavy visual effects and fantasy elements, the makers want to spend more time to complete the work properly.Earlier in an interview with Variety India, Naga Chaitanya talked about the film where he also discussed its scale. “There is a lot of VFX involved in ‘Vrushakarma’ as we want to create a large-scale theatrical experience for the audience,” he said.

In the same interview, he said that the film is almost finished and that they are considering releasing it in August or October. He said, “the film is 90 percent complete, but there is still 10 percent left. That’s why we don’t have an exact release date yet, but we’re looking at the August-October window.”But if the latest reports are to be believed, the film seems to be being pushed for a couple of months.Talking about the production, the maker earlier this month also revealed that they have completed a crucial schedule for the film in Rajasthan and shared some behind-the-scenes pictures where the team can be seen shooting and chatting.

The film also stars Sparsh Shrivastava of ‘Laapataa Ladies’ fame as the main villain and features Jayaram and Satya in lead roles. Music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
