At one stage, with Rajasthan looking set for an even bigger total after 180 for 2 in 13 overs, Suryavanshi turned the match into a one-man spectacle. His opening partner Yashvi Jaiswal was reduced enough to watch from the other end as the youngster launched the balls to every part of the ground. Yet despite all the records and applause, the slow walk back to the pavilion after they were out probably summed up the night best. Suryavanshi knew history was within touching distance, and even after scoring one of the greatest IPL innings ever, the 15-year-old looked devastated to have missed out on something even bigger.
