National Testing Agency (NTA) University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination will close the application correction window tomorrow, May 28, 11:50 PM. Candidates who want to make changes in their application form can visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in and modify their details before the last date.Correction facility is provided for the posts of Assistant Professor, admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and candidates taking admission in Ph.D. only in Indian Universities and Colleges.As per the official notification, candidates can make corrections in their online application form from 26th May to 28th May 2026. NTA has clarified that this is a one-time rectification facility and no further opportunity will be given after the deadline.Candidates are advised to verify all the details carefully before submitting the correct application form, as any correction will not be accepted after 28th May 2026.Direct link to edit your form Here
UGC NET June 2026 : Fields that cannot be changed
Candidates will not be allowed to edit the following details:
- Mobile no
- E-mail address
- Permanent and current address
- Uploaded image
- Uploaded signature
UGC NET June 2026: Editable Fields
Candidates can make changes in the following details.
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Selection of Exam City
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- category
- Persons with sub-category or benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) status, if not verified through the Unique Disability ID (UDID) portal
- Selected subject for examination
NTA has also informed the candidates that the option to amend the examination subject will remain available till the end of the amendment period.
UGC NET June 2026 Correction Process: Important Details
Candidates can correct only once.
