
Following the news that actress Natalie Cassidy’s father passed away, the star has now taken a new path in her career. According to the latest reports, the actor has started his official training to become a caretaker. She will also star in the new film ‘Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together’.

The BBC reports that Cassidy, who first pursued an acting career, is now training to become a professional carer to help as many people as she can. Her next show, ‘Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together’, will chronicle her career from the beginning, including how she got her licenses and everything that followed.
In a chat with Kate, the actor also appreciated that he wants to shed light on Britain’s disabled care system, highlighting the financial pressures, lack of resources and other things that negatively affect the industry and ecosystem.
She also added why she felt the need to train and become a caregiver, “Caring for my dad until the end of his life, and losing him, was one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to do, but the people I’ve met have changed my life and are so inspiring. That’s what drove me to do this.” Also, “I’ve only ever had one job, but I’ve always wondered what I would do if I wasn’t an actor.”
Natalie Cassidy remembers what it was like to care for her father in his final moments
During the interview, the star recalled what it was like to watch over and be there for her father in the last moments before his death. He shared: “The last few moments were incredibly hard, but really unbelievable. I remember holding her hand and caressing her arm and saying: ‘It’s okay, you can go now, we’re all fine, you’ve done your job’”.
Cassidy’s father died in April 2021 after falling ill. In the interview, she shared that the family had all moved into an outhouse to ensure that her father could be independent, as well as have support whenever he needed it. He also credited Linda, his father’s caregiver, for allowing him to manage everything along with his work.
