The South African reached the milestone during SRH’s high-scoring clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Hyderabad on Friday. Klaasen scored a quick 51 as SRH posted 255 for 4, Ishan Kishan 79 and Abhishek Sharma 56. The innings also helped Klaasen tie the record for most 50-plus scores in an IPL season by batting at No. 4 or lower. He now sits alongside Rishabh Pant and Glenn Maxwell with six such scores.
