Playback singer Sonu Nigam According to property registry documents obtained by CRE Matrix, he has sold five parcels of land adjoining Karjat for a combined consideration of Rs 95 lakh. The latest sale comes almost a month after the singer sold several plots in the same region for 1.95 million.The transactions relate to five adjacent plots located in Savele village in Karjat, part of the emerging Mumbai 3.0 belt. Together, the parcels of land cover about 1,067 hectares, the documents revealed.The transactions were registered on May 12, 2026 and attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 5.7 lakh.According to the documents, a plot measuring 0.21 acre was bought by a group of four people for Rs 20 lakh. Another plot of 0.215 acres was bought by two buyers for Rs 20 lakh.In another deal, an individual buyer bought a 0.225 acre plot for Rs 20 lakh. Meanwhile, a two-person group acquired a 0.20-acre plot for Rs 17 lakh.A plot measuring 0.217 acres was sold to another individual buyer for Rs 18 lakh, according to registry records.Sonu Nigam and the respective buyers could not be reached for comment.
The first sale had a value of 1.95 million euros in April
In April this year, Sonu Nigam sold a large plot of over 1.9 acres in Karjat, Raigad district of Maharashtra near Mumbai for Rs 1.95 crore.The deals were executed through four separate transactions with different buyers. The documents showed that a plot measuring 0.405 acre was sold for Rs 50 lakh, while another plot measuring 0.718 acre was sold for Rs 75 lakh.A third transaction of 0.607 acre was done for Rs 50 lakh, while a plot of 0.208 acre was sold for Rs 20 lakh.All four transactions were registered on April 7, 2026, with a cumulative stamp duty of Rs 11.70 lakh.

The Nigam family has been in the spotlight for several property transactions in recent months. In February 2026, Agam Kumar Nigam bought a 1,197 sq m plot of land along with a ground floor residential and commercial structure at Madh Island in Mumbai for Rs 10 crore, according to documents obtained by Liases Foras.In 2025, Sonu Nigam leased a commercial property in Mumbai’s Santacruz East for a period of five years with a rental value of over Rs 12.61 crore.
