According to reports, the upcoming season will be set against the glamorous backdrop of Cannes, with the story set to unfold at the festival itself. Filming is taking place across Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Paris.the actor Laura Dern he was spotted on film sets over the weekend, filming scenes along the beach in Saint-Tropez.Created by Mike White, the new season is said to explore the lives of the rich and famous, and is said to touch on issues of celebrity culture.

Executive producer David Bernad previously told the Los Angeles Times that the French Riviera setting was chosen after White was captivated by the location. He explained that the series wanted to be a multi-country European tour, starting in France, then Spain, then Ireland. However, once the director had “a moment” in a restaurant in the south of France, he reportedly said “I don’t want to see him anymore” and canceled the rest of the tour.
