Oben Electric has announced that its newly launched Oben Rorr Evo has received 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of its launch. The Bengaluru-based EV maker says deliveries of the motorcycle will begin from June 2026, while the payment portal has now gone live on the company’s website. The company has also announced plans to add 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27.

The Oben Rorr Evo was launched for the first set of customers at an introductory price of Rs 99,999, ex-showroom. After the introductory offer, the motorcycle will be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh ex-showroom.Powering the Rorr Evo is a 3.4 kWh LFP battery paired with an in-house developed IPMSM electric motor that produces 9 kW of peak power and 250 Nm of wheel torque. Oben claims an IDC-certified range of 180 km on a single charge, along with a top speed of 110 km/h. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds, while the fast charging support allows the battery to be charged from 0-80 percent in 90 minutes. The battery pack is backed by an 8-year warranty.The motorcycle has a Street Fighter inspired design with V-shaped LED DRLs, round LED headlamps and sharp body panels. It also offers 780mm seat height, 200mm ground clearance and 680mm long seat. Storage capacity is 10 litres, including underseat and tank-mounted storage space.Highlights include a 5-inch color TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, geo-fencing, theft alerts, OTA updates and fall detection with emergency SOS support. The bike also gets Oben’s SmartIQ system, an AI-based ride optimization technology that is claimed to improve performance and increase range by up to 15 percent.
