He said: “I think yellow journalism was out of control at the time. And you probably couldn’t clear the air earlier, faster, like you can do on Instagram now or post a post and you have direct interaction with your audience, which wasn’t there before.”Raveena said access to editors can determine how a story plays out. He added: “Before, if you were in the editor’s good books, then things would work out for you. Otherwise, if you were just a private person. No, then you didn’t let it live.”The actor said the negative headlines would leave lasting damage, although a correction later occurred. “So you had to wait until the next headline and a little apology that didn’t make a lot of sense. So it was just the headline, that did the damage. It sat in people’s minds, and the damage was done, and there was no going back,” he said.
