The actor said he broke up with Tahira when he was in his 20s because he felt he needed to focus on himself after winning her reality show. Years later, Ayushmann laughed off the phase and said that he now sees himself as a “green flag husband”.

The actor opened up about relationships, early success and winning ‘MTV Roadies’ changed the way he saw himself.“I have experienced a similar situation. I was 20 years old then. I told my girlfriend, who is now my wife, the same thing. He started laughing and asked me: ‘What happened to you?’ I had just won Roadies, but in my mind, I was the most popular boy in Chandigarh,” he said.Ayushmann added, “I broke down for a while to focus on myself. “I don’t have time for relationships. I need to invest time in my mind.”The breakup didn’t last long. Six months later, Ayushmann realized his mistake and reunited with Tahira. The couple later married at the age of 24.

Ayushmann joked about how men change with age. “Men have this profound tendency to start out as a big red flag and then suddenly become a green flag by the time they’re in their mid-30s. I think it’s a journey we all go on. I think I’m a green flag right now,” she said.The actress also linked her real life with ‘Vicky Donor’. By the time she signed the film, she already had two children. “Even before I started Vicky Donor I was a father. I took method acting too seriously,” he joked.He also revealed that he donated sperm during a ‘Roadies’ job. “I actually donated sperm. It was part of a roadies task. They were checking our sperm count. I was only 20 years old then. Nothing was shown on the screen, only the results were displayed. And I won the task,” he said.Sara Ali Khan was shocked, while Rakul Preet Singh asked, “You donated sperm and then Vicky Donor?”Ayushmann will be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ opposite Sharvari.
