While the actor, known for films like ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ and shows like ‘Naagin’, was confident, Suraj admitted that marriage was never part of his plan initially.Speaking to Bombay Times, Suraj shared, “For a long time, I was against the idea of getting married. However, after a year of living together, I must say it’s quite peaceful and I would recommend it.” He also revealed that Mouni was clear about his intentions from the beginning of their relationship.

According to Suraj, after a few years of dating, Mouni decided she didn’t want uncertainty in their relationship. Recalling that phase, he said, “Mouni was pretty clear that she wanted to get married very early on. After a couple of years of dating, she made it clear that it was either this way (get married) or the highway.”She admitted that she kept putting off the decision for a while before finally realizing what she really wanted. “I kept buying time. Then one day, he gave me an ultimatum, and I realized that if I didn’t marry him, I would lose him. That’s when I realized that we should get married because I knew my life would be better with him,” added Suraj.

I thought it would be tough, but I saw Mouni making a lot of effort to feel comfortable here. Now, her friends are my friends and vice versa,” she shared.
